Product Description
Intinor Direkt link NDI™ rack compresses audio and video to MPEG4 AVC (H264) or HEVC* (H265) and is easily configured with unique profiles for different locations of live broadcasts. It has the following digital inputs:
- 2x NDI™ with embedded audio (up to 16 audio channels), option to add more NDI inputs
- 1x Software encoder (option to add more)
IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS: Except for decoding video and audio, Direkt Receiver as an IP link system gives the following advantages
SUPERVISION AND ALARMS: IP streams can be supervised and troubleshooted via the ISS-Intinors system for statistics and supervision.
SDI OUTPUT: A standard Direkt receiver has two SDI outputs. One is enabled by default

STANDARD FUNCTIONS
The following functions are present on the Direkt receiver
● Easy to configure via display and keypad
● Can be controlled via web interface over the network
● Peak Programme Meter (PPM) for calibration of sound level
● ISS – Intinors system for statistics, supervision and troubleshooting
● Backup settings and upgrade software via web interface or ISS
● Can receive video streams from many different units
● Black burst sync in
● Automatically detects whether streams are MPEG2, H.264 or H.265
● Select output format via the web interface: PAL, NTSC, HD, or HD / 3GSDI
● Automatically scales input streams into a selected output format
● Test picture can be customized
● Management via IP2 (secondary network interface)
● BIFROST™ Reliable Transport
● Stream synchronisation (NTP)
The Direkt receiver is primarily customized using options. Other customer-tailored solutions are made on order.
- 4-WIRE TALKBACK:By using 4-wire talkback, the Direkt receiver can connect to other Direkt units for audio communication with a short delay. The option gives two or more full-duplex mono channels, for example, control room and studio return.
- MULTIPLE SDI OUTPUTS: The Direkt receiver can be equipped with 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12x SDI outputs
- CASE: All Direkt links can be delivered in custom cases.
- SRT – SECURE RELIABLE TRANSPORT: SRT is an open-source video transport protocol.
- RIST:RIST is an open-source video transport protocol.
- 2U RACK: 2RU 19” rack, disk bays and redundant power supply.
